Privacy Policy

This policy explains how NEBA (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data, and the rights you have.

1. Who we are

NEBA is responsible for your personal data. Contact our privacy team or Data Protection Officer at legalcompliance@nebaprivateclients.com.

2. What we collect
  • Contact and identity details: name, email, phone, address, country of residence and nationality.
  • Enquiry details: messages, meeting notes and call recordings (we will tell you before recording).
  • Client information (if you engage us): ID documents, date of birth, tax residency, financial circumstances, investment objectives and risk profile, and where needed for insurance, health information.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and cookie identifiers.

We may also receive data from introducers, product providers, public registers and identity-verification services.

3. How we use it

We use your data to respond to enquiries, provide our services, meet legal and regulatory duties (including anti-money laundering, sanctions and tax reporting checks), run and secure the website, and send marketing where you have agreed or the law allows.

We rely on the lawful bases that apply where you are: performing a contract, legal obligation, our legitimate interests, or your consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only where needed, with: our group companies; product providers such as insurers, platforms and custodians; IT, hosting and verification providers acting for us; professional advisers; and regulators, tax authorities or courts where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we protect transfers with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Security and retention

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. We keep it only as long as needed for our purposes and to meet legal and regulatory record-keeping requirements, typically 7 years after our relationship ends, then delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, withdraw consent, and opt out of marketing or targeted advertising. Some rights are limited by regulatory record-keeping duties.

To make a request, email legalcompliance@nebaprivateclients.com. We may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site. With your consent, we also use analytics and, if applicable, advertising cookies. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires.

9. Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. For questions, contact legalcompliance@nebaprivateclients.com.
